Developed a full-stack business application for a gas distribution company to replace manual tracking across spreadsheets and WhatsApp. Covers the full operational loop: cylinder inventory by size and location, customer order management, delivery scheduling and confirmation, payment reconciliation, and exportable sales reports.
The problem
Gas distributors manage dozens of cylinder types across multiple depots with no real-time inventory visibility — leading to stock mismatches, lost orders, and manual reconciliation that takes hours each day.
The approach
Built a Next.js/React web application backed by PostgreSQL. Designed a cylinder lifecycle model (depot → customer → return) and a delivery workflow with driver assignment and confirmation. Added inventory alerts, customer balance tracking, and PDF report generation for daily reconciliation.
Outcome
Eliminated the paper and spreadsheet tracking process. Real-time cylinder counts, order status, and daily sales summaries replaced end-of-day manual tallies.
